BioI am a former freelance photographer specializing in b/w photos and "faces that tell a story", based on my background as a writing major and avid reader of biographies. Over a 30 year period I have taken thousands of images, but I stopped selling my work about ten years ago. Recently I showed my photos of New York City during the 1970s to my daughters, who encouraged me to start showing my work again...which I did. Five of my images recently appeared in The Picture Professional, the magazine of the American Society of Picture Professionals. The link is: http://www.aspp.com/picprof/2006_2/cantu.pdf. Based on some very positive responses (which I was delighted to receive), I am now thinking about new areas for showing my work, starting with Live Journal.
